A studio with a bed and kitchen

The Studio apartment has the same outside dimensions. Switch to that example and follow the route from the bed to the counter. A sofa position that works in the living room may cut across that route here.

Room Planner FAQ

Where do I enter my room’s width and depth?

The preview uses furnished example rooms. For a rectangular room with your measurements, enter its width and depth in the Floor Plan Maker. To keep the furnishings shown here, open this layout in Studio and adjust the walls there.

How precisely can I move a piece?

Drag it on the 2D drawing, or focus it and use an arrow key to move it by 10 cm. Hold Shift with an arrow key for a 50 cm step. The preview keeps the piece within the room.

Can I compare layouts without losing my edits?

You can move furniture in one room, switch to another and return to the first during the same visit. Reset this room restores only the selected example. Open your preferred layout in Studio before leaving if you want to save it.

Can I fit furniture that has different dimensions?

The table lists the width and depth of the pieces in the selected example. Open that room in Studio, select a piece and edit its width and depth to match the outside measurements of your furniture.

Can I extend a single room into a whole home?

Yes. Open the room in Studio to keep the arrangement and add rooms or floors. If you already need multiple connected rooms, compare furnished home templates before starting.

Continue with this room layout

Keep your furniture arrangement and viewing angle. In Studio you can change wall lengths or extend the project into another room.
